Help with broken camera
My Mark II decided to break on me a couple of weeks ago. Now, sometimes when I take photos, there is a strip through the middle that is overexposed in comparison to the rest of the image. Less frequently, a dark strip appears in the bottom right.
Any ideas?
Update - Broken shutter ended up costing me $626.

That’s a blown shutter. The camera is going to need to be sent to Canon. If it’s not under warranty, expect to pay $200-300 for the repair.
