Photojournalism From A Student’s Eye

Today St. Cloud Times photographer Kimm Anderson covered the last of four troop returns, after a two-year tour in Iraq. Last week I covered the return of Charlie Company to the Central Minnesota area. The resulting video had some parts I liked, and some parts I did not like. I am not quite sure why I didn’t pay more attention as I was filming the interview, I think maybe I was planning on covering it with B roll, but there is a pole coming out of his head, it’s overexposed, and not framed correctly.
